Eric Bana might be cast in the lead role for Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
20th Century Fox is bringing audiences this big screen adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith‘s novel with Timur Bekmambetov in the directors chair and Tim Burton producing, this movie is simply going to be amazing!

The novel was written as a biography of Lincoln based on the “secret diaries” he kept that were given to the author by a vampire named Henry Sturges, who saved Lincoln’s life when he battled a vampire as a teenager. The two develop a friendship and Sturges teaches Lincoln how to hunt and kill vampires.

The film is scheduled for release on June 22, 2012.
