David Slade is being brought on board to direct the reboot of Marvel’s DAREDEVIL for 20th Century Fox. Slade does not have a finalized deal, but it looks as if he’ll end up taking the job. Keep reading for more details.
If production does not begin soon on DAREDEVIL, Fox loses the rights to the film and it will go back to Marvel. I did not like the first attempt at an adaptation that starred Ben Affleck, but it will be interesting to see Slade’s take this on. It would not be a bad thing if Marvel actually did end up getting the rights back though.
Slade is best known for directing the THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. He also directed 30 DAYS OF NIGHT and HARD CANDY. He is also working on a new Dracula story titled THE LAST VOYAGE OF THE DEMETER, which I am also excited to see.
