THE HUNGER GAMES has cast its male roles and they will go to The Kids Are All Right star Josh Hutcherson and The Last Song’s Liam Hemsworth.
The former will play fellow competitor Peeta Mellark while the latter will take the role of main character Katniss’ childhood friend and love interest Gale Hawthorne.
The film is an adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ bestselling series and will see Gary Ross direc with last year’s Oscar nominee Jennifer Lawrence in the aforementioned starring role.
