Tom Cruise is currently in talks to star in WE ARE MORTALS, the sci-fi adaptation of the Japanese novel by Hiroshi Sakurazaka All You Need is Kill, according to THR. The epic high concept movie has Doug Liman attached to direct. Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt have also been considered for the role of the lead character in the movie.
Dante Harper penned the script that is reportedly a mix of “GROUNDHOG DAY and SOURCE CODE mixed with a futuristic alien invasion storyline. The film follows a” young, inexperienced private is killed in action, only to be reborn the day before, forced to repeat his fate. Eventually, he becomes a better warrior (that, and other circumstances are changing), which might be the key to altering the outcome.”
I am such a huge fan of Cruise and will literally see every movie that he’s in. I dont’t understand why some people dislike him. What do you think off this casting news?
