Miles Kane has confirmed that he and ARCTIC MONKEYS frontman Alex Turner will reunite once more.

Fans of THE LAST SHADOW PUPPETS, rejoice! Miles Kane has confirmed that there are plans for a follow-up to their debut album, 2008′s ‘The Age of The Understatement’, but not just yet.

When asked about the band in an interview with Noise11.com , Kane said “That will be when the time is right. We will both know together”. THE LAST SHADOW PUPPETS started as a side project for Turner and Kane, frontmans respectively of ARCTIC MONKEYS and THE RASCALS, and they released their debut album, ‘The Age of The Understatement’, in 2008 to critical acclaim. However, don’t expect new material any time soon; Kane has estimated that they won’t return to the studio until the end of 2012 at the earliest.
