Beloved Harry Potter author J.K Rowling will be releasing a new adult book as announced by The Blair Partnership, J.K. Rowling’s new agency.
On their site they said, “ We are pleased to announce That our client, J.K. Rowling, will be releasing a new novel for adults. Further details will be announced later in the year. The Blair Partnership is a literary agency. We are in the business of taking care of authors, their talent, their careers and their success.”
The book will be published by Little, Brown in the United States. A note on The Blair Partnership website from Rowling herself reads, “Although I’ve enjoyed writing it just as much, my next novel will be very different from the Harry Potter series.” And here is a longer quote from Rowling, ““Although I’ve enjoyed writing it every bit as much, my next book will be very different to the Harry Potter series, which has been published so brilliantly by Bloomsbury and my other publishers around the world. The freedom to explore new territory is a gift that Harry’s success has brought me, and with that new territory it seemed a logical progression to have a new publisher. I am delighted to have a second publishing home in Little, Brown, and a publishing team that will be a great partner in this new phase of my writing life.”
The internet was buzzing yesterday with Harry Potter fans being thrilled and excited about this. The Harry Potter books are an escape for all of us, we enjoyed going on the journey with Harry, Ron and Hermione and now we will be taken on a new journey with whatever the new book will be about.
