Sacha Baron Cohen’s latest extravaganza of a movie, The Dictator, has released a French trailer recently that actually reveals a bit more of the actual plot of the film. From the original trailer we only see that Cohen’s character is a dictator of some crazy middle eastern type country and illegitimately makes the rules as in we see Cohen’s character cheat to win his own countries version of the Olympics. Sacha Baron Cohen’s character’s are rather outrageous and out of the ordinary but most of the time seem to be quite funny. No matter what though, he can’t beat Borat, the film that first brought Cohen’s crazy character’s to the mainstream (aside from the fans of Da Ali G Show).
We see in this newest trailer that Cohen’s dictator gets into some trouble and is brought to America for some justice of sorts. He somehow loses his identity and is pushed out onto the streets of New York City. At one point in the trailer Cohen is working at a convenient store and is absolutely hilarious in the way he treats the customers. I seriously couldn’t stop laughing after he kicks a kid into some product and slaps the hell out of an impatient customer in line. I really would like this film to be another hilarious hit for Cohen but I don’t think that will come true. We shall see on May 11, 2012 when The Dictator hits theaters nationwide. Watch the second official trailer for the film after the jump.
