It’s that time again: another weekly DVD/Blu-Ray Roundup! Here are the new releases for the week and my opinion on whether you should Skip It! Rent It! or Buy It!
This week’s big releases are definitely W.E and New Year’s Eve. W.E had some surprising Oscar nominations last year and is directed by Madonna. New Year’s Eve is the sequel to Valentines Day and has a cast full of big names.

- Haywire, (starring Gina Carano, Ewan McGregor, Michael Fassbender, Channing Tatum, Bill Paxton, Michael Angarano, Michael Douglas, and Antonio Banderas), DVD and Blu-Ray. Read our review here.
- Flicka: Country Pride, DVD and Blu-Ray.
Buy It!
- W.E. (starring Abbie Cornish, Andrea Riseborough and James D’Arcy), DVD and Blu-Ray. While I think it’s worth the buy, our reviewer Daniel had a very different opinion.
- New Year’s Eve, (starring Robert De Niro, Katherine Heigl, Ashton Kutcher, Carla Gugino, Lea Michelle, Zac Effron, Josh Duhamel, Jessica Biel, Halle Berry, Sofia Vergara, and Michelle Pfeiffer), DVD and Blu-Ray. If you love a movie full of big name stars and New Year’s Eve…this is the movie for you! Once again, Daniel doesn’t agree with me.
- Covert Affairs: Season Two, DVD. A great show.
