Here’s the full trailer for the remake of Maniac, which stars Elijah Wood. This is a pretty intense trailer that has nudity and a lot of creepy, ugly and frightening moments. Quite the intense role for Elijah Wood. This remake is done by Franck Khalfoun and the writers are Alexandre Aja, Grégory Levasseur and C.A. Rosenberg.

The Synopsis:
Just when the streets seemed safe, a serial killer with a fetish for scalps is back and on the hunt. Frank is the withdrawn owner of a mannequin store, but his life changes when young artist Anna appears asking for his help with her new exhibition. As their friendship develops and Frank’s obsession escalates, it becomes clear that she has unleashed a long-repressed compulsion to stalk and kill.
Well, this is definitely intense, ugly and horrific. I haven’t seen the original film, have any of you? It does look like Elijah Wood gives a killer performance (pun intended I guess). Will you guys be seeing it? No movie release date yet, I’ll update when there is a set date.
