I’ve been wanting to see anything come about this movie since I first began seeing the great reviews it got from Sundance earlier this year. The romantic comedy Celeste and Jesse Forever that stars Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg has finally come out with a fantastic first trailer that gives us a perfect insight to the relationship between Jesse and Celeste. They are a recently separated couple going through a divorce yet they hang out every single day like nothing is awkward at all. In fact, they seem to get along as best friends instead of romantic partners. Check out the great trailer below:
I really can’t wait to see this film. It looks heartfelt, endearing, and downright funny. Along with Andy Samberg and Rashida Jones, the film has a great supporting cast including Elijah Wood, Emma Roberts, Eric Christian Olsen, Janel Parrish, Ari Graynor, Rich Sommer, Sarah Wright, and Chris D’Elia with Lee Toland Krieger in the directors’ chair. Celeste and Jesse Forever is slated to hit theaters August 3. 2012. Will you be adding this to you must see list?
