SYTYCD Has Something The World Needs to See

…and it’s Cyrus “Glitch” Spencer. Spencer and his two roommates burst onto the scene of So You Think You Can Dance with their unique style in the Atlanta Auditions. As great as he was, I, like many, assumed they were just one hit wonders, and would struggle in Vegas. His two roommates were just that. One left before even going on stage, while the other tried but was cut at the hip hop section. Spencer made it through, and was on to the next round.

To the surprise of many, Spencer made it through the broadway section, and was now onto ballroom, where he predictably struggled. However, he was given the chance to dance for his life, and boy did he do that. In the preparation, Spencer said it perfectly, “I got something the world needs to see.” Well here it is world. Enjoy it.

 

I love the guy’s recation at the 1:10 mark. His face is so funny. It’s just crazy how amazing his body control is. Spencer went on to make it to the final round, and we will find out next week if he makes the top 20. If past seasons are an indication, he will make it. Most of the time, the unique hip hoppers who show they are decent at other dances get on the show for variety and the underdog story. And I definitely think people will pick up the phone for this guy.  His personality is bigger then the room, and he’s unique, which in Season 9 of this show is a rare thing.
