Ubisoft have had a long history of producing epic special editions for their games, the Assassin’s Creed series especially. At the beginning of the year Ubisoft announced three editions for Assassin’s Creed 3- the regular edition, the Join Or Die Edition and the Freedom Edition. The latter is the most expensive containing a figurine of Connor, the new protagonist of the series, a steel art book, George Washington’s notebook and a wealth of in game content. However, Ubisoft have gone one step further and have announced the Assassin’s Creed 3 Limited Edition.
The Limited Edition has many of the items in the Freedom Edition such as the figurine but the Limited Edition also contains a belt buckle with the Assassin’s Creed emblem on as well as an Assassin’s Creed/Colonial Flag. The edition though is only available in North America and Latin America, however so that the rest of the world is not left out Ubisoft also released a special Independence Day trailer. The trailer features a lot of large scale battles between Red Coats and revolutionaries.
