The Sundance film festival accepted film, Why Stop Now, has received a full-length trailer. The film stars Jesse Eisenberg, Melissa Leo, and Tracy Morgan. Definitely an odd combination of actors but non-the-less. Basically, Eisenberg tries to check his mother, Leo, into rehab but she can’t get in because she doesn’t have enough drugs in her system to be admitted. He is forced to go on one last drug run to his mother’s drug dealer, Morgan. The drug dealer is out of the drug of choice and enlists Eisenberg to go on a cross town adventure to obtain the designated drugs. Of course, mayhem ensues. The trailer looks endearing and should have some random laughs if you are a fan of Tracy Morgan like I am. Check out the trailer below.
The story of Eli Smith (Jesse Eisenberg), a piano prodigy, dealing with his troubled mother, Penny (Melissa Leo), and enlisting help from a hapless drug dealer, Sprinkles (Tracy Morgan), on the day he has an audition for a prestigious music program. Events spiral comically out of control as this gang of misfits faces the mistakes of the past, the challenges of the future, and the possibilities of love.
