This weeks biggest releases are Flight, Celeste and Jesse Forever, and A Late Quartet. Denzel Washington’s brilliant performance as an alcoholic pilot who also has a problem with drugs in Flight has gotten him an Oscar nomination.
Here’s a scene from Flight:
- Flight, (starring Denzel Washington, Brian Geraghty, John Goodman, Don Cheadle, Kelly Reilly, James Badge Dale, Bruce Greenwood, Melissa Leo, Nadine Velazquez, Peter Gerety, and Tamara Tunie). This film has gotten a lot of acclaim, including of course Denzel getting praise and awards nominations for his phenomenal performance. It’s definitely a must-have. Here’s our review of the film. It’s available on Two Disc Combo and DVD at Amazon.
- Celeste and Jesse Forever, (starring Rashida Jones, Andy Samberg, Elijah Wood, Emma Roberts, Ari Graynor, Eric Christian Olsen, Janel Parrish, and Chris Messina).
