Get excited Fast & Furious fans! According to Deadline, the lead from the under-appreciated Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift Lucas Black will be back in the driver’s seat for not only Fast & Furious 7, but also for the untitled follow-ups 8 and 9.

Lucas Black’s Sean Boswell was a southern fish in Japanese waters in that film, aided by Lil Bow Wow and Han Solo. While Han Solo met an untimely end in Tokyo Drift some time shifting in the story telling allowed for him to become a fan favorite in installments 4 through 6. While fans know that Han Solo will not be in the next film, it remains to be seen if Lil Bow Wow will be reprising his role and returning to acting for the franchise.

Given the three picture deal, it’s all but guaranteed that Black will be a major force in Fast & Furious 7.  It will be directed by James Wan (Insidious: Chapter 2). Scripted by Chris Morgan, the film stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Statham and Djimon Honsou. Neal H. Moritz and Diesel are the producers.

Fast & Furious 7 will be released next July 11.
