Poster and trailer for DETENTION which premieres at SXSW

Here’s the poster and trailer for Jospeh Kahn’s new teen horror comedy DETENTION. Kohan is responsible for TORQUE, which was horrible. DETENTION does not look much better. Collider describe the film best when they said it’s a mix of SCREAM, THE BREAKFAST CLUB and a Disney Channel made-for-TV movie.”  Check out the trailer and the full-size poster shown below.

Synopsis:

Detention, is a teen horror-comedy where the local students of Grizzly Lake must survive their final year of high school. Standing in their way is a slasher movie killer who has seemingly come to life. It becomes a race against time to stop the killer and save the world – if only they can get out of detention. The Detention cuts through prom. Most of them don’t have dates anyway.

DETENTION premieres on Sunday, March 13 at the SXSW. Check out the trailer below and share your thoughts?
