Jim Carrey to star in BURT WONDERSTONE opposite Steve Carrell

Jim Carrey is in talks to join the cast of BURT WONDERSTONE, a new comedy starring Steve Carrell. Don Scardino is directing the movie for New Line Cinema. John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (HORRIBLE BOSSES) penned the script, while Tyler Mitchell and Chad Kultgen wrote the story.

Carrell will play “a Las Vegas magician who breaks with his longtime stage partner and finds himself upstaged by a rival hip street magician who is stealing his thunder.” The rival magician will be played by Carrey. I love Carrell so I am down for any film he’s in. Carrey on the other hand is hit and miss these days.

Does this sound like magical illusion you are ready to see?
