Soderbergh’s HAYWIRE trailer number 2

Steven Soderbergh’s HAYWIRE has released a second trailer. With the film’s release set for January 20, 2012, a lot more attention has been given to it. There are now multiple trailers, photos, and clips making their way around the web.

When I saw the first trailer, I was a little hesitant to latch on as a fan. Gina Carano is more widely known for her astonishing MMA career than as an actress. However, she looks in great form from the trailers for HAYWIRE. She was the only reason I was hesitant to show initial interest but once you see the full cast (Channing Tatum, Michael Fassbender, Ewan McGregor, Michael Douglas, Antonio Banderas, Michael Angarano, and Bill Paxton) and throw in director Steven Soderbergh (TRAFFIC, OCEANS franchise, CONTAGION) I don’t see why anyone would not want to see this film. It just straight up looks action packed.

Check out the new trailer:

Synopsis:

Beautiful freelance covert operative Mallory Kane is hired out by her handler to various global entities to perform jobs which governments can’t authorize and heads of state would rather not know about. After a mission to rescue a hostage in Barcelona, Mallory is quickly dispatched on another mission to Dublin. When the operation goes awry and Mallory finds she has been double crossed, she needs to use all of her skills, tricks and abilities to escape an international manhunt, make it back to the United States, protect her family, and exact revenge on those that have betrayed her.
