Fight Aliens On The JUSTICE LEAGUE Ride!

What a great week for Justice League fans!  Along with the announcement of Warner Bros. new Justice League movie in the works, WB Movie World has confirmed that Australian theme park goers will be immersed in the DC Comics universe this September on JUSTICE LEAGUE: Alien Invasion 3D.  Respected attraction designers, Sally Corp, are responsible for bringing this $9 million project to life.  It is reported that the new dark ride will feature 200 meters of track, 20 themed cars, eight 3D screens, 18 animated character figures, and laser effects.  Guests boarding the attraction will be given laser guns to help the Justice League stun alien spores before they have a chance to destroy Earth.  The ride will keep track of alien kill scores.

While not quite up to Disney Imagineering standards, Sally Corp has been responsible for several hit theme park attractions over the years including the beloved and missed E.T. Adventure at Universal Studios.  I have confidence that the super hero team’s transition from splash page to immersive and interactive attraction is in good hands.  This new ride sounds like a cross between Disney’s Toy Story Mania and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, so it will no doubt be loads of alien hunting fun for the whole family!  I don’t know about you, but I’m going to be booking my flight to Queensland, Australia just for the Batman and Wonder Woman animatronics alone!!  Who else wants to come with me to join the Justice League down under?!?
