Franz Ferdinand, Beach Boys and more this Week in Music Releases – August 27, 2013

We’ve got some interesting music this week.  First off: Franz Ferdinand has returned!

Franz Ferdinand is releasing its fourth studio album, Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, this week. It’s their first album in four years, so if you’re still humming “Take Me Out,” you won’t want to miss their newest offering.

It’s a golden week for Bob Dylan fans.  The legendary singer/songwriter is releasing the tenth installment of his Bootleg Series, Another Self Portrait: 1969-1971. The album (also available in a deluxe, four-disc set) features 35 previously unreleased tracks and demos.

Dylan’s not the only classic artist releasing music this week. The Beach Boys are back with Made in California, a six-CD box set covering fifty years of music-making.  Along with classic hits, the set includes unreleased and live tracks.

Are you more excited for Franz Ferdinand, The Beach Boys or Bob Dylan’s new album?
