GameInvasion Podcast – Episode 16 – Better Than Ever

On this week’s GameInvasion, join Carl Wilhoyte, Nick and Katie Hammer, and Nick Weber as we smugly know more about games than the developers that made them. Bask in our entitled sense of superiority as we delve into several games we claim to love and tell those CHUMPS how to make the game better.

Just kidding. Only practical joking! They’re not chumps. We assume they’re nice people who smell good and are full of love. Sometimes developers simply run out of time or ideas, and don’t have the luxury of being 4 privileged idiots who talk about video games online. This is more of cathardic wish fulfillment; figuring out how it could be perfect, rather than just awesome.

We look at Star Trek Online, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Civilization V, and Magic 2014. Games you probably don’t give two shits about, but we all obsess over anyway. You’ll also hear out ideas to improve the Obama Presidency (more FEMA camps), the politics of public Oomax, and why you shouldn’t get bearded by Games Workshop.

If you’d like to submit a topic for discussion, email us at videogames (at) screeninvasion.com or add your own snarky thoughts below. We’ll promise we’ll read every one’s mean comments and cry lots.

If you really like our podcast, be sure to share us on Twitter, Facebook, and Podomatic. That would mean so very much to us. *sniff*
