BOOM! Studios is the comic book publishing company that will take the reins of the popular show. Not a stranger to TV shows, BOOM! Studios is known for publishing popular shows into comics. Some their comics include Eureka and Farscape both comics being four issues spread out over time.

The comic will only be a four-issue project (so far at least). It will tell stories from different angles of season 1. Each issue will feature two stories that will be in the timeframe of the TV show.

This is what Marguerite Bennett (she’ll be one of the lead writers for the comic series) had to say about the development of the comic, “The first issue takes place early in the [first] season and is a story of magic, the second is in the middle and is a story of myth, and the third and fourth are close to the end, and are the story of a machine,”

Sleepy Hollow issue No. 1 will be available digitally on October 15 and the second season of the TV show will premiere on September 22.
