SECRET WARS: Guardians of Knowhere

The “Secret Wars” event just keeps getting bigger and bigger. It was announced via Entertainment Weekly that Brian Michael Bendis will be bringing his Guardians of the Galaxy series into the “Secret Wars.”

The series will enter the “Secret Wars” event under the title, “Guardians of Knowhere.” The series will be set on the moon orbiting the Battleworld.

In the interview with Entertainment Weekly, Bendis talks about “Knowhere.”

“We’re gonna open up on a mystery in Knowhere,” says writer Brian Michael Bendis. “And that mystery is going to open up a lot of stuff—including a new villain. Characters a lot of people have been asking for will show up, and by the end of the series, you’re going to see a status quo change that I think people are going to be very excited about.” Click here for the entire interview.

Bendis went to say that the new series will have a different rooster. As seen on the cover, some of the character from the original series and film will be missing. The missing members will be Groot and Rocket Raccoon. One of the members in the new series will be Angela ,who for a time, was a member of the team.

“Guardians of Knowhere #1” will be released June 17.
