American Horror Story
Over the last few years, FX has been redefining television horror with their hit limited series: American Horror Story. This year, they are moving in to a hotel for their latest installment of the series – American Horror Story: Hotel. We were fortunate enough to get an invite to the premiere
FX Networks Announces San Diego Comic-Con Slate – ARCHER, THE STRAIN, AMERICAN HORROR STORY & SONS OF ANARCHY
FX Networks’ original series Archer, Sons of Anarchy, American Horror Story: Coven and The Strain are heading to Comic-Con in San Diego.
We’re almost there horror fans, and last week delivered an American Horror Story: Coven episode that in many ways felt like the one I’ve been waiting all season to see; scary, funny, gleefully wicked, and full of all sorts great supernatural twists and turns.
I didn’t like this episode of American Horror Story: Coven as much as last week, mainly because my favorite witch Misty is still stuck in a coffin, but that doesn’t mean it wasn’t fun.
Happy 2014, everyone! Let the horrors continue!
Merry Christmas horror fans! The holidays aren’t exactly the prime time for witchcraft, voodoo, and decapitations, so we’ve had a bit of a break from our favorite horror show. However before it returns on January 8th, let’s make sure we’re all up-to-speed. This last episode was a game changer, and
After the rather dull episode we had before break, things start to pick up again this week. We open with Queenie (rapidly becoming one of my least favorite characters on the show) walking through a bad part of town at night, where she is menaced by a homeless man. However
We had a week off of American Horror Story to celebrate Thanskgiving with our loved ones, which was probably appropriate given this isn’t exactly the kind of show that brings families together. And though I’m far belated for a recap of what happened the week before that, I do my
This week doesn’t quite live up to last week’s thrilling episode, but it’s still a fun one and it lays out a lot of groundwork for some fun plot-lines down the road. We open in 1919 at the start of the Jazz Age, when a mysterious Axeman (played with a
Wow, what an episode! The best of the season so far? I’d say so. We open on All-Hallows Eve, 1833 at Madame LaLaurie’s home. A young man at the party takes interest in LaLaurie’s daughter Boquita, so LaLaurie invites him to her “chamber of horrors.” In a spin on
Happy (belated) Halloween! What better way to celebrate than to watch another episode of American Horror Story? This week ratchets things up considerably, expanding the world of the story and also the rivalry between the two witch clans. Let’s get started. In 1961, a young black boy is lynched by
This week’s episode was a busy one! Lots to go through, though not a heck of a lot of resolution. Let’s not waste any time! We open with Fiona grabbing a midnight drink, unable to sleep. She flashes back to the year 1971, where she talks with the lead Supreme
I feel like it always takes a few episodes for American Horror Story to find it’s footing each season, but with this week I can safely say I like where the show is heading. The main conflicts and themes are becoming evident, and the groundwork has been set so that
And we’re baaaaack! It’s time for another wild and twisted tale from Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk with Season Three of American Horror Story. Season One focused on ghosts and Season Two focused on, well…probably too many things in my opinion. With this season we’re (hopefully) back to one stronger uniting central
The second-to-last episode of American Horror Story: Asylum has arrived, guys! We open in 1967, a few years after the main events at Briarcliff. We see Kit’s home at night, with a photo showing he is still living with Alma and Grace. As we move through the home, we see
Read our episode recap of American Horror Story: Asylum. Skim, two percent, or whole? What do you prefer, guys? We open with modern-day Bloody Face smoking in his apartment (lots of smoking on this show). There is a knock at the door, and a well-endowed African-American prostitute enters, calling herself
